  • Obviously this is just a political ploy by the GOP...and I'm not a millionaire, but the fact remains that if you pay the taxes for something (unemployment insurance, social security, etc.) you ought to be able to collect the benefits if/when you're entitled to them.

  • I don't think the Pakistan govt (and its spy agencies) speaks with "one voice" any more than the US govt does...There were probably some Pakistani ISI folks who were complicit in hiding Osama, and others who were complicit in tipping the US off in where he was hiding.
